How scan tracking works
- Every scan opens this URL in the phone's browser and lands in your analytics as a session tagged
utm_source=qrand your campaign. Works with GA4, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo — anything that reads UTM. - Want per-scan logs and a destination you can edit after printing? Point the QR at a short redirect URL you control (a tiny endpoint on your own server) — the printed code never changes. That part needs a server; this page deliberately doesn't.
- Always test-scan the proof on screen with your phone camera before sending it anywhere.
